Here we are on another little weekend outing, playing cards while wearing our missionary badges.
A look from our balcony.
We now look around to check out another beach, Fisher King Resort, where they do a lot of windsurfing. (No windsurfing today due to the rain)
Oh, and yes we have to show you the decorations once again.
Check out the green helmet planter hanging on the post.
Can you find the swans in the middle with the white bottoms?
The scenery is so lush here.
And this would be- Fisher Bay Resort.
It took just over a minute so we figure we paid a dollar something every second we zipped along.
Our wrist bands are our proof of completion.
Before leaving we went to our friend Steve's son's school celebration.
They had a dance-off.
(The school has 4,000 students. )
Steve's son JaseTee is a Senior and this is their group.
The Seniors won the competition.
Now to go back in time.
This was Christmas Morning at our house. Sister Snyder invited the Elders to Christmas Breakfast...
(They have no gas at their house so they can't cook- only microwave.)
Please ignore Elder Wilson and Elder Coontz with their weird faces. They are a mess and that's how we know the church is true when we get elders like this and they do amazing work.
Elder Burton is in the chair on the left. He is a Delta Utah boy.
Then in the afternoon, it was lunch with the Office Elders and the Senior Missionaries at President Peterson's home.
This is our Sister Hunt who just went home. We were all in the MTC together.
This is our Elder Corpus who worked in the office when we first got here. He went home a while ago and came back to visit.
(He and his family popped in one LATE evening right before we went to bed.)
We just had another Zone Conference. It was split into three groups this time. This is just one of the groups.
Yes, the Senior Sisters are still doing the "Cleanest Apartment Award."
Our missionaries are doing so well and so many of them are feeling the difference in their home. Their homes seem more inviting and you can feel the spirit there.
This is to prove that even the elders can clean!
Good Missionaries....
I just wanted you to see our Past Office Elder, Elder Estrella, and our good Elder, Elder Ballarta who goes home next week.
Let's take a break here and tell you of some of the heartwarming feelings that come while serving this mission.
First to see a young man who was baptized continue to come to church and participate. Then he missed a few Sundays and we were so worried. After a couple of Sundays he came back and has been coming and attending all his meetings. What a joy it is to see him each Sunday.
The family with the twins stopped coming to church after they were baptized. They are very poor and the tri-C ride is costly to them.
They stopped coming in November. Last Sunday we sat in church and just after the Sacrament was passed the twins came to find us and sit with us. The joy!? I'm sure the joy we felt when we saw them is like the joy we will feel in heaven when we greet our loved ones once again.
Hoping this is okay but one thing we miss here is hearing the Sacrament Prayer in English. It is hard to follow along because they add a lot more words than we do.
Now back to our Zone Conference.
In our last two Zone Conferences we were shown two videos.
If you haven't seen this one about the Savior's birth you're missing out!
It's a sweet and simple video.
We love our church who does these things so beautifully.

We'd like you to meet our twenty-six-year-old Elder Ejera.
Before his mission, his girlfriend said to him, "Let's get married." He told her that he wanted to serve a mission first.
With-in a few months after getting here his one eye went blurry. He didn't tell anyone until he lost sight in that eye.
They quickly schedule him a doctor's visit in Manila where they said that he would need surgery because it was a fast-growing tumor.
The President had to tell him that he would lose the eye. Elder Ejera told the President that he did NOT want to go home but wanted to continue his mission after the surgery because he knew the Lord had a plan for him.
At the airport he was busy passing out Pass-A-Long cards and telling people about the gospel. He wanted to continue to be a missionary.
Once in Manila he went to the temple and prayed for the Laoag Mission.
It was just a few weeks before he was back here doing missionary work once again.
His comment to the President is, "I now have an eye singled to the glory of God"!
Our missionaries are the best- but let us tell you about Sister Ho Ching. She is on the front row, the second one from the right. (long curly hair)
She has always wanted to baptize a family and a member of the Iglesia in Cristo Church. That church is very, very strong here. They can't even speak to us and they aren't allowed to read the scriptures. The Priest reads the scriptures to them on Sunday and tells them how to interrupt them.
Last week Sister Ho Ching and her companion had 12 new people out to church. (Our AP Elders had 21) Amazing right?
Sister Ho Ching then was able to count a family and a member of the Iglesia in Cristo Church in their baptism. That person was then excommunicated for just attending our church.
Just imagine, that person can now read the scriptures whenever they want. Just imagine the feeling they will have as they read and ponder on their own!
What a joyous work!
The City is all lit up again with lights of all kinds.
The little grass huts are to portray the homes that were here in the past.
This is one of our morning walks. We have found a new area to go to.
Sister Drzayich says the sky is bigger here!
This family raises turkeys.
We see all kinds of sights. This man is out in his front yard taking a bath.
Each area is called a Barangay.
The barangays work to take care of and beautify their areas.
They usually have a rest area.
Apparently, this Barangay is tired of seeing the men just stopping anywhere and relieving themselves. It is a very common sight here.
This is the first time we have seen this.
This is the first time we have seen this.
So we say Good-by once again and hope to put out at least one more blog before coming home.
Love always,
The Sister Sisters
